I spent nearly 30 years in People and Culture leadership inside Fortune 500 companies. I have sat in the boardroom, built the systems, led the teams, and felt every bit of the tension between who I was called to be and what the business demanded of me.

What I know for certain: God did not design you to lead from exhaustion. He designed you to lead from clarity, from calling, and from a foundation that holds when everything else feels like it is falling apart.

Over thirty years of financial and operational leadership took me through companies like Target, Walt Disney World, and Sun Country Airlines. I led analysis teams for organizations ranging from $60 million to $600 million. Somewhere along the way, the size of the company stopped impressing me. The real weight showed up in small and mid-size businesses, where owners agonize over every decision because there's no cushion to fall back on.

I watched talented, God-gifted business owners undercharge, overwork, and wonder why the math never added up, with no one beside them to help them see it clearly. A business built on guesswork will always feel shaky, no matter how the year looks on paper. God did not design you to run on instinct.
